Changing Your Life, Part 2

It is time now to begin working with the second step in the creative process to create what you want to create in your life now.  As I promised, I will be acting as your personal coach over the next 6 months to help you create one thing that you want now, so you can understand how the creative process works and how valuable this knowledge can be in creating the life you want for yourself.

Just to be sure we are all on the same page I will lay out what we have done so far.  The first step in changing your life was to read the Understanding Stress e book, then you listened to the 7 Steps Interview, so you were clear about how stress affects us and the relationship between stress and our ability to create the lives we want for ourselves.  And the process we can use to create whatever we want.

Next you wrote down the one thing you are choosing to create for yourself and are reading it when you first wake up in the morning and the last thing before you go to sleep at night.  You are also expanding your description of your creation as you get clearer.

The second step in the creative process is Visualization.  You need to be able to clearly see in your mind’s eye the manifestation of whatever you are creating.  Visualizing is just like day dreaming.  It is just using your imagination.  Einstein said that imagination is more important than knowledge.  So, just like professional athletes do, we are going to use our imagination to visualize what we are creating.

We want to start with creating 3 pictures of something that you will see when your choice is manifested.  Put yourself in the picture and imagine you experiencing whatever you are creating.  Use as many of your senses as possible to make it as real as possible.  This is an experience that you are having.  We must first live the experience in our minds.  That creates a form for the law of attraction to fill with the necessary energy for it to manifest in the material world.

As an example, if you were creating a new home for yourself, you could see the surroundings, imagine what it looks like, and also put in some sounds and smells.  Walk inside, what is the feeling you get as you enter?  What is the view like?  Walk into the different rooms, see the furniture and the décor, how does it look, feel, smell?  Maybe there are some fresh baked cookies in the kitchen that you can smell and even taste.  Get comfortable on the sofa or the bed or in your favorite chair.

You get the idea; just let your mind wonder and experience as much as you possibly can in relationship to whatever you are creating.  Give yourself some time to create the 3 pictures that you will be working with, then re-live each of these scenes right after you read your choice first thing when you get up and the last thing before you go to sleep.

It is absolutely amazing how effective this is, so be sure to follow through with this second step daily.  The third step is Acceptance, which we will get into next week.
