Up till 2 weeks ago, I was renting a partially finished basement that was very uncomfortable to live in. I did the process and I pictured my ideal home, beautiful, spacious, brand new with wooden floors, lots of windows with lots of light. Unfortunately, I found out that my credit score had dropped so I could buy a home. A few weeks ago my landlord came to me and told me I had to move, he is selling the house. I started half-heartedly looking for another place to rent. I remembered a friend who had asked me several months ago about renting from him. I had told him no because I wanted a home. I went back to him and asked how much he wanted for his place. It was a lot more than I was paying so I told him I couldn't rent it. The next day I saw him again and said he had place I could rent for what I was already paying. When he took me to see the house it turned out to be a brand new home only 1 year old. I had seen it many times before when it was for sale and wanted to live there but I was completely sure I couldn't afford it. This home is exactly what I was envisioning in my mind and now I am living there for the same price I was paying for a partially finished basement! I can hardly believe it! I had a house trailer on Woodson County State Lake for the years 1969 thru summer of 1973 and they had furnished the electric service. When it comes to received money from unexpected places, getting a check which I have just cashed for electric service that you have not had for over 36 years is unreal.
