Health Care

We are hearing so much these days about health care, I thought I would address the issue.  However, it is not the issue of the bill that is being debated in Congress. Here we want to take a look at real health care.  What is health care?  It seems simple enough to understand that it is about taking care of our own health.  If we do this really well, then we will not need to be concerned about paying for doctor bills, since there will not be any.

So, what do we need to do to take care of our health?  First we need to take full responsibility for doing just that and make a choice to learn and follow through with what we learn about caring for our own health.

Movement of the body is very important.  We have probably all heard the phrase “use it or lose it”.  Bodies are made to move and we must create a balance between rest and activity to create optimal health.  Diet is important, we need a healthy diet, which we cover in detail in our Continued Growth Course, but at Unlimited Futures we start with the most important thing for our health which is a series of exercises that exercises or stimulates all the organs in the body.  They affect every aspect of the entire mind/body system.  In the daily routine that we recommend there are stretching exercises, weight baring exercises, and aerobic exercises, which each play a role in creating optimal health.

We clearly understand the need for a balance between rest and activity, therefore we also recommend breathing exercises and meditation to bring the mind and body to a state of deep rest.  First we exercise to release the stress and prepare the body to settle down.  What affects the body affects the mind and vice versa, then we bring both the mind and body to a state of very deep rest.  Making a full commitment to doing this process on a daily basis as described in my book Unlimited Futures: How to Understand the Life You Have and Create the Life You Want, is an excellent way to care for your health, as well as move you into a more advanced level of functioning.
