Learn The Value Of Visualization

by Dr. Bobbie Stevens on July 29, 2009

More and more people today are learning the value of visualization.  Athletes are using it to improve their game, and business is now taking notice of the value of visualization.

Visualization is the second step in Unlimited Futures’ creative process.  Some people tell me they do not know how to visualize.  They are mistaken.  We all visualize all the time.  Most of us become masters of it when we are children, and at that point it is called daydreaming.  It is simply using our imagination to create an inner experience for ourselves.  Einstein says, “Imagination is more important than knowledge”.

We, at Unlimited Futures, use visualization as part of the process for creating whatever we want to experience in our life.  We have discovered that there are principles of life that govern how we create our own experiences.  I discuss seven of these principles in my book Unlimited Futures: How to Understand the Life You Have and Create the Life You Want. The first three are as follows;

1.     Everything in existence is Love, intelligence and energy

2.     Thought directs and forms energy

3.     The law of attraction and repulsion

Einstein proved to us that everything on the physical level of life is energy.  We move and form that energy with our thoughts, beliefs and attention.  This is where visualization comes in to play.  When we are able to create a vision in our minds eye, we create a form for the energy to fill.  The law of attraction and repulsion is going on all the time similar to gravity, and we are attracting the energy necessary to fulfill our beliefs and expectations.

When we visualize something we start attracting to ourselves whatever is necessary to bring that vision into reality.  We are actually moving and forming energy.  We are using our mental energy to direct physical energy.

The process sometimes seems like magic if we do not understand how it works, but it is just a natural process that is going on all the time.

We can actually create whatever we want by using the seven steps in the creative process.  These steps are (1) clarity (2) visualization (3) acceptance (4) focus (5) intuitive guidance (6) action (7) manifestation.

I explain the entire process in detail in my book Unlimited Futures: How to Understand the Life You Have and Create the Life You Want. I also provide step-by-step guidelines for what you need to do to start creating your life the way you want it to be.
