meditation techniques

Many people are now beginning to understand the value of meditation, and are asking about how to meditate.

We use a number of meditation techniques in our courses and I explain in detail how to use a number of techniques in my book Unlimited Futures: How to Understand the Life You Have and Create the Life You Want.  There is not enough space to explain techniques here, but I can tell you what meditation is and its purpose.  Meditation techniques are to help you focus your attention on one point so that your mind stops running in numerous directions.  When you focus your attention on one point, it could be your breath or a spot on the wall, an inner or outer sound, your mind stops racing and begins to settle down and move toward its source.

Meditation affects the entire mind/body system. What affects the mind affects the body and visa versa.  When we can focus our attention on one point, the body begins to settle down as well as the mind.  Many studies have been done to verify the value of meditation in creating better health.  We can use any of our senses as a meditation technique to focus our attention and settle both the mind and body.

The idea of meditation is to transcend our continual outer thinking and allow our awareness to connect with universal consciousness or all intelligence.

Stretching exercises like yoga and breathing exercises are very beneficial to practice to help enable the mind to settle down into meditation.  I have provided diagrams for the stretching and breathing exercises and detailed instructions for many meditation techniques in my book.  Get the book, read it, practice the program and watch your life change for the better.
