What is optimal health? Most of the time we think we are healthy if we are not sick, but what we have discovered is that there are much higher levels of health than what most people ever experience.
In the past, we have not understood the connection between health and success. To be successful in all areas of life we need energy and clear thinking. These qualities are a result of a healthy mind and body.
Optimal health means being as healthy as we can be. The next question is what is possible for us in terms of health.
We have discovered that both the mind and body are affected by all of our experiences. When we make more demands on the mind/body system than it can handle it creates stress and that stress gets built up and gradually causes the entire mind/body system to become less and less effective, less and less capable of functioning to its full capacity.
Since this happens for most of us we think it is just life, but what we have discovered is a healing, strengthening process for releasing the stress, which allows the body and mind to heal itself, and then strengthening itself to allow us to discover or access abilities, that we all have deep within ourselves, that lie dormant unless we become healthy enough to activate them.
This moves us into a whole new level of functioning. Only then have we achieved optimal health, and only then are we capable of success in all areas of our lives. At this level of health we become capable of creating the life we want for ourselves.
