How To Make Better Personal Choices In Your Life

by Dr. Bobbie Stevens on September 7, 2009

We are always making choices about everything in our lives.  Sometimes it seems like we do not have a choice about certain things, but the reality is that everything that happens in our lives is the result of the choices we make.  Even when we chose not to chose, we have still made a choice.

How your choices determine your experiences is a matter of how energy works.  As you probably know by now, everything in existence is energy.  That energy is moved and formed by our beliefs and our attention.  Our personal choices in life are directed by what we believe.

In fact, we all get to make our own choices.  No one can choose for anyone else.  When someone makes a choice for us, we still get to decide to accept it or reject it.  Therefore, we all make our own choices.  The question is, how can we make better choices in our lives?

For most of us, in order to make better choices, we need to change some, and many times most, of our beliefs.  I have discovered that it is very difficult, if not impossible, to change our beliefs when we are over stressed.

Therefore, in my book Unlimited Futures: How to Understand the Life You Have and Create the Life You Want, and in our courses we provide a process for releasing stress, strengthening the nervous system and activating our right brain abilities.  Through the practice of this process we find that we automatically begin to make better choices.  The reason we make better choices is that releasing the stress changes our perception and we can more clearly see how to work in harmony with the laws of nature or principles of life.  Therefore, we become more capable of making better choices and creating better experiences for ourselves.
