How to Release Stress

by Dr. Bobbie Stevens on June 23, 2009

Everyone needs a process for releasing stress on a daily basis.  Therefore, how to release stress becomes a major concern.

We all live in environments where there are numerous demands made on our nervous systems constantly, this is why we need to find a way to release that stress.

The body is designed to heal itself and strengthen itself given sufficient rest, but most people have never been totally rested in their entire lives.  If we had never overstressed our nervous systems, a good night’s sleep would repair it.  However, since most of us have been overstressing our nervous systems on a daily basis most of our lives, it now requires much more than just a short rest to release the built-up stress.

We at Unlimited Futures have discovered a process for releasing stress and strengthening the entire mind/body system. Not only did we discover how to release stress, but we discovered a process that strengthens the nervous system which actually leads to high level wellness and moves us into a whole new level of functioning.

Our limited beliefs also create a tremendous amount of stress that gets stored in our nervous systems.  We not only need to know how to release stress, but we also need to know how to change our limited beliefs.

Once the stress is released we are then capable of changing the limited beliefs that creates so many problems for us, and blocks our progress.

We work with a process of stretching exercises, breathing exercises and meditation to release the built up stress that we hold in our bodies.  Working with this process on a daily basis, not only releases the stress, but it also strengthens the entire mind/body system and makes it possible for us to see far greater possibilities than what most of us have ever dreamed possible.

I have described this process, provided diagrams and step-by-step guidelines for what to do to release the stress, create optimal health, and take charge of creating the kind of life you chose, in my book Unlimited Futures: How to Understand the Life You Have and Create the Life You Want.
