Releasing the Stress

by Dr. Bobbie Stevens on January 4, 2010

The holidays are over, but for many they created additional stress.  Now is the time for releasing the stress and starting the New Year in a more relaxed state.  Most people live a pretty stressful life on a regular basis and then when the holidays come we make more demands on ourselves and the stress builds up, many times enough to get our attention.

As we make New Year’s resolutions maybe it is time to take a look at our lives and see if we may be over stressed on a regular basis, and if so, start to make some different choices.  Wouldn’t it be great to create a new lifestyle for the New Year? You can now create a lifestyle that releases stress on a daily basis and strengthens your entire mind/body system which will promote healthy functioning, where the stress will continue to damage the mind and body.  This lifestyle strengthens the nervous system so that you are capable of experiencing more good and be less overwhelmed by the unpleasant things that happen.

Stress is debilitating, but a strong healthy nervous system allows you to become more relaxed, more capable and more successful in all areas of life.

In my book Unlimited Futures: How to Understand the Life You Have and Create the Life You Want, I provide step-by-step guidelines for creating a healthy lifestyle that will support the release of stress and promote health in all areas of the mind/body. It will also strengthen your nervous system which will move you into a whole new discovery of the power you have within yourself to create the experiences you want in your life.
