Stress – Your Health and Your Experiences

by Dr. Bobbie Stevens on July 5, 2010

Do you ever wake up feeling – just out of sorts, or do you sometimes feel bored, disinterested in life, sad or even depressed?  These are the effects of an overstressed nervous system.

Our nervous systems are the communication system for the mind and body.  It must carry all the messages from the mind to the body and return all the messages from the body to the mind.  So you see, everything we say, do, think or feel all creates demands on our nervous systems.

What happens is that every time we make more demands on our nervous systems than it can handle, it damages the system to some degree, and over time our nervous systems become less and less capable of doing its job.  It usually begins by affecting our perception; it also affects our competence and even our ability to care.

Most doctors agree that at least 99% of all illness is stress related.  When we over stress the nervous system its ability to do its job is diminished and in time malfunction of both the mind and body are inevitable.  The symptoms we discussed earlier are the beginning of the deterioration of our health.

Many years ago I was experiencing these symptoms, when I was fortunate enough to discover a process for releasing stress, thereby healing and strengthening my nervous system.

It is great to be free of these feelings, but the exciting part is that once the stress is released and the nervous system becomes strong enough we automatically move into a much more advanced level of functioning.

We activate abilities that lie dormant within us until we become healthy enough to activate them.  These abilities are what we are now calling right brain abilities.  They are creativity, intuition, the ability to see the big picture and understand complex systems.  We are then able to see and understand laws of nature or principles of life that govern how we create our own experiences.

At that point we become capable of creating whatever we choose.  We see the world and function in it from a whole new perspective.

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms and would like to create a life of health, joy, happiness and fulfillment the place to start is by reading my book Unlimited Futures: How to Understand the Life You Have and Create the Life You Want.
